About your host:
Alanya trained in Classical Ballet and Jazz Dance, and discovered Belly Dance in 2003, and has been teaching professionally since 2009 having attained a teaching diploma from the Josephine Wise Academy of Arabic Dance. Alanya performs at parties, haflas and events across the UK, and leads her Open Level student performance troupe Egyptienne which performs at local and regional events. She runs twice-monthly workshops in Herefordshire as well as one-off workshops across the region and is a regular teacher at the BellyDance Now International Summer School. Her teaching covers a range of Middle Eastern styles and will get you shimmying
