About Hilary Norris
As a solo organ recitalist Hilary has toured Sweden and Italy, given concerts in Germany and Holland and performs regularly in the UK. She performs as a free-lance continuo player and accompanist (harpsichord and organ) with various soloists, chamber ensembles and choirs and has played for a number of recordings. Her research into 18th and 19th century English organ music and the works of Mendelssohn have resulted in many lectures on the subjects including lecture/recitals for the Gothenburg International Organ Festival and the British Institute of Organ Studies. She also works as a Choral Director with several choirs and has been Director of Music at Leominster Priory since 2019. She is also Director of Studies for the Herefordshire Organists’ Training Scheme.
