LEOMINSTER FESTIVAL AROUND THE WORLD
Bon Voyage! This year Leominster Festival is taking you around the world!
Our theme will be celebrating all of the wonderful places our planet is made up of. We are celebrating all of the different cultures and traditions that our world has to offer and bringing them to YOU! Pack your suitcase and check in to your trip around the world.
We’re already hard at work booking in fantastic events for this year’s festival with some confirmed dates already – pop these in your diary!
Thursday 5th June – An evening of celebrating our orchards, with a cider tasting, a local short film and lots to learn about apples!
Friday 6th June – Our famous BIG STREET QUIZ returns to its favourite venue, The Grape Vaults! Start brushing up on your trivia and get yourselves ready!
Saturday 7th June – ECHO return with their hilarious colour run, whether you’re throwing the paint or trying to run as fast as your can past it, this event is always one of our favourites to take part in.
Sunday 8th June – We are delighted to welcome back the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra for an evening of incredible orchestral music at the stunning Leominster Priory
Tuesday 10th June – The Leominster Community Choir will be offering a FREE session of singing and enjoyment in advance of their performance at the Fun Day – get those vocal cords at the ready!
Thursday 12th June – Grange Court are hosting their super fun Festival BINGO night – eyes down, we’ll see you there!
Friday 13th June – Kiddies, we haven’t forgotten about you! The Kids Disco will have you all boogying away to cheesy music and raiding the tuck shop in no time.
Saturday 14th June – the highlight of our week, and what all of our hard work and fundraising is for – THE FAMILY FUN DAY RETURNS! With a full day of FREE activities for all of the family we cannot wait to show you what we’ve got in store this year. There will be inflatables, games, activities, workshops, music, theatre, local vendors, a craft fair (and hopefully some sunshine this year??) We’re excited!
Also more to be confirmed – Fun dance classes, local walks, a clothing swap, a beer tasting, paint club, arts workshops and SO much more! We can’t wait!
