Do you have what it takes to be crowned the official 2021 Leominster Festival poet?
Leominster Poetry Slam is a competition for artists to perform their work stripped bare of props, costume or musical accompaniment. You’ll be scored on your poetry, technique, performance and relevance by a (very friendly!) team of judges.
Set in the cosy confines of the lovely coffee shop, 35 West on West Street this is a celebration of local talent and great coffee.
Poems must be:
- Original
- Performed in 3 minutes or less
- Simple and relatable

Winners will be announced on the night and published on our media platforms. It’s a lot of fun and we’ve had some really talented entrants – put your hat in the ring, we’d love to have you.
